New York Airport Information
There are two primary business aviation airports for New York City: Teterboro Airport (TEB) in New Jersey and White Plains Airport (HPN) on the New York - Connecticut border. Teterboro is slightly closer to the city than White Plains but both airports are less than 30 minutes from Manhattan in good traffic conditions.
OneSky Jets recommends Teterboro for air charter flights to or from Manhattan destinations. White Plains can be a better choice for travelers heading to/from the upper east side of Manhattan and is the preferred airport for people heading to or from Southern Connecticut. The Oxford, CT airport (OXC) is also an attractive alternative for Connecticut travelers. If you are flying to or from Long Island, then Farmindale (FRG) or Islip (ISP) could be the best choice.
While OneSky does arrange flights to or from LaGuardia (LGA) and John F. Kennedy (JFK) airports, we do not recommend these airports for business jet charter flights. LaGuardia requires landing and departure slots 24 h
