The King Air 300 is a descendant of the very popular B200 and was first flown in October of 1982, only 14 months after the project was developed. The new changes included better engines, changes to increase its aerodynamic effectiveness and upgrades to the internal avionics. The King Air 300 is pressurized and can carry up to 15 passengers with a 1 or 2 man flight crew. It is recognizable by its low/straight wing, with 2 wing mounted, 4 bladed turboprop engines. It also incorporates a swept T-tail with swept horizontal stabilizer. Each side of the fuselage has 5 cabin windows. The King Air 300 cruises at speeds up to 315 knots and has a range of 1,960 nautical miles.
